| Let's talk about RARE!! Here is an opportunity to obtain a true rarity ! $2000.00 US Mint Sewn Bag 1999 P Susan B. Anthony Dollars Direct from the Federal Reserve. I wonder how many Americans even knew there was a 1999 Dollar coin. The US mint created this 1999 coin to accommodate expected shortages during the transition into the new golden dollar. Mintage figures for these coins remain high yet how many were actually released into circulation. Here is a good barometer for my claims, how many do you have? How many have you seen, touched or owned? When the US mint spends over $40,000,000.00 in advertising to promote the new Golden dollar, with millions of the Sacagawea dollars already produced, these 1999 Susan B. Anthony Dollars are just going to be stored in Federal Reserve vaults for a few years until they are finally melted. All those mint sewn bags produced for commerce and use will just fade away, leaving a mere handful of unopened, unsearched mint sewn bags. One of the largest consumers of these mint sewn bags was Littleton coin company who searched through 84 mint bags until they found one extremely rare Susan B. Anthony dollar struck on a golden Sacagawea planchet. This modern wrong planchet error coin is probably the first wrong planchet error produced since the 1943 Copper cent. Only about 6 of these Modern Dollar errors are known with prices reaching well into the $40,000.00 range. Currently we have only 2 of these 1999 P Susan B. Anthony Mint sewn bags available. |
